By Allah’s grace and mercy, I’m humbly organizing this fundraiser on behalf of our beloved son, brother, and friend, Shuaib Franklin. All of Baltimore, especially us within the Muslim community, know the truth of Shuaib’s kind hearted and loving character. Shuaib is innocent of the unjust charges that have turned his life upside down. 

Shuaib is a light in our community as a servant-leader. 

For those who may not know Shuaib’s journey of service:

Since 2016, He has worked with ’The No Boundaries coalition’ (NBC) as an advocate against Food Insecurity. At the age of 16, He regularly led healthy food demos at neighborhood corner stores across Baltimore’s largest food desert in the Upton, Pennorth and Sandtown communities. 

He has continued his service at “Fresh at the Avenue” NBC’s produce stand in Upton Avenue Market. As a youth mentor and role model, “Shuaib has been a consistent and invaluable volunteer at Fresh at the Avenue, serving two to three days each week.” (Bolon A., Director of Health and Food Justice at No Boundaries Coalition). He went on to be honored as Volunteer of The Year in 2024.

Beyond Baltimore, Shuaib has carried his compassion abroad. He represented Baltimore on an Interfaith Group Trip to El Salvador during a time when it was considered the world’s deadliest country—demonstrating his courage and dedication to global peace and justice. Locally, he helped establish Summer Family Fun Days at Masjid Ul-Haqq, offering free community barbecues and game days that have become a beloved tradition.

Despite clear evidence of his integrity and character, he’s now in the fight of his life for freedom and the truth! 

We believe in Shuaib’s right to a fair trial in a system that too often fails those without resources to defend themselves. The cost of a strong and competent legal defense is overwhelming, and without help, justice may slip out of reach.

We are seeking to raise $20,000 to cover attorney fees, court costs, and essential investigative services. Your support will give him the chance to clear his name, reclaim his future, and finally bring peace to an innocent man.
